Brandon Sklenar



Brandon Sklenar was born in New Jersey to a carpenter and a hair dresser. At 14, he decided he would be an actor. After one year, he dropped out of college and moved to Los Angeles to further his career, and studied with various schools and teachers to hone his craft. In 2015, Brandon starred in the Japanese/American co-production TEMPLE, for Netflix. He has appeared in NEW GIRL for Fox and in the award-winning independent film HUNKY DORY. He also starred in GLASS JAW, a gritty film set in the world of boxing.

Recent features include working with international filmmaker Amir Naderi (99 HOMES), recipient of The Venice Film Festival Golden Lion Award, on his next directorial effort, MAGIC LANTERN, a supporting role in the highly anticipated Dick Cheney biopic BACKSEAT, with Academy Award Winners Christian Bale, Amy Adams, Sam Rockwell and writer/director Adam McKay, a supporting role in  MAPPLETHORPE, about the life and death of controversial photographer Robert Mapplethorpe, which was competition at the 2018 Tribeca Film Festival.

His latest endeavors have him playing lead roles in INDIGO VALLEY and JONESIN’, and supporting roles in LONDON CALLING and Roland Emmerich’s upcoming historical war pic MIDWAY.
