Danny Teeson

Biography

A native of England, Teeson studied jazz, ballet, tap, modern, pas de deux, musical theatre and hip hop among many other dance styles at the highly reputable Laine Theatre Arts in Surrey, England. While still studying he made is West End debut as dance soloist in The English National Opera’s Force of Destiny, then went straight into the original London cast of the widely successful “Fame – The Musical” at just 19. Subsequently, he went on to perform in musicals and plays in London’s West End for 4 more years. After putting his triple threat abilities to work as a performer in TV, film and theater, he went on to choreograph for Grammy Award winning artists such as Carrie Underwood, Kelly Clarkson and Paula Abdul as well as Brit Award winners Robbie Williams and Tom Jones, with whom he won the VH1 Best Video Award for “Sex Bomb.” Teeson founded his own company Danny Teeson Productions, Inc. under which he has created, designed, directed, produced and choreographed many productions including AMERICAN IDOL Live Tour, Los Angeles Fashion Week and Princess Cruises Theatrical presentations for their 1200 seat, state of the art theaters. Teeson’s wide scope of training and experience equips him perfectly for TV and Film where he currently works extensively with credits such as HAPPILY DIVORCED, THE EXES, GET HIM TO THE GREEK, THIS IS FORTY, THE THREE STOOGES, Disney Channel’s LET IT SHINE, LIV AND MADDIE, and K.C. UNDERCOVER, which he recently directed an episode.
