Eliana Girard

Biography

Eliana knew at a young age she wanted to make a difference in the community through dance. She moved to New York City at 16 and danced with American Ballet Theater, Joffrey Ballet, and Alvin Ailey. Her professional career started at Cirque du Soleil in the cast of Viva Elvis. She broadened her knowledge of not only dance but aerial acrobatics in Cirque performing as a pole artist. Following the end of that contract she went on to audition for the tv show, “So You Think You Can Dance.” She had the experience of a lifetime and was blessed with winning season 9 as America’s favorite dancer. After that tremendous success she went on to tour with Taylor Swift internationally for her RED Tour. She is in Taylor’s music videos Red and 21. She’s been on the shows Glee and Bones. Other performances include the VMA’s, Brit Awards, CMA, Billboard, and Grammy’s. She now has spent time teaching and sharing her knowledge of movement across the states. Her goal is to give students the vocabulary, confidence, and knowledge to express themselves. Eliana has found such emotional healing through dance and wants to others to experience that freedom.
