Jeremy Kent Jackson, is an accomplished actor, educator, and entrepreneur. He has performed professionally in dozens of films, voiceovers, commercials, television shows, and plays. Career highlights include regular recurring character, Douglas Davenport, on Disney’s long-running, live action-comedy series, Lab Rats; the lead character of Joker in the motion capture project, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare; the title character, Tiny Hands, in Burger King’s iconic commercial campaign; and guest star roles on television shows including YOU, CSI:Miami, Without a Trace, and Drake and Josh. Jackson has acted opposite James Caan, John Larroquette, Christine Baranski, Kevin Spacey, Richard Farnsworth, and Danny Huston and earned his union card when selected by late great director, David Lynch, to play a role in his film The Straight Story. Jackson has been a member of SAG-AFTRA since 1998.
Beyond performance, Jackson founded the Los Angeles based theatre education company, DiscoveryOnstage, where he served as Co-Creator/Creative Director for more than 16 years; created and led for a decade the High Arts drama program at Providence High School in Burbank; and for 3 and 6 years overlapping served as Associate Dean of Performing Arts & Film and Program Chair for BFA Acting at Studio School Los Angeles (aka HCLA and Relativity School). He holds a BFA in drama from the University of Oklahoma, a master’s degree in management & leadership from Western Governor’s University and completed a six-level improvisation program at Minneapolis’ Brave New Workshop.
Most recently Jackson launched the upstart acting studio, Actorcraft p2s, where he serves as managing director and lead instructor, and joined the board of directors for the Gig Harbor Film Festival.
Originally from Greeley, Colorado, Jackson is married to a theatre artist and educator; a father of two boys, one studying history and film at UC Berkely and the other a future animator headed to high school; an animal lover; an outdoor enthusiast; a fly fisherman; a golfer; an enjoyer of wine and architecture; an amateur deck builder and set designer; an uncle to three brilliant nieces; a brother to a best-friend-sister; and a devoted son to two incredible parents who taught him everything there is to know about healthy relationships.
