Liz Porter

Biography

Liz is a St.Louis born dancer, growing up in the world of competitions and conventions from a very young age.  Liz attended college at Oklahoma City University where she received a Bachelors of Performing Arts in Dance.  Spending summers in both LA and New York on scholarship she chose to make the move to LA to continue her career in the performing arts.  Liz has worked on numerous film, tv and commercials including COMMUNITY, MIKE AND MOLLY, DR.KEN, BRING IT ON, THE OFFICE, MOBBED, HEART OF DIXIE, SYTYCD, MINUTE MAID, WENDYS, SAMSUNG, Kidz Bop, AUSTIN AND ALLY and the MULANEY Show just to name a few.  Liz also still loves the world of musical theater as she is a singer as well, she has been apart of 3 Equity productions of WIZARD OF OZ, FOOTLOOSE and CHICAGO.  Liz also spent a season apart of the DALLAS COWBOYS CHEERLEADERS where she performed at all home games and was a member of Show group that toured with the USO.  Liz comes from a world of technique and performance based education.  She strives to give each class and teaching opportunity as much as possible as to create knowledgable well rounded and smart dancers to grow into working professionals. Liz has taught across the US and into Costa Rica for the past 15 years and still enjoys sharing her love of movement with everyone she encounters.
