Melanie Gage

Biography

Melanie Gage is an accomplished choreographer whose dance career spans more than 20 years. Born in N.Y., she began working on stage but was quickly drawn to Los Angeles where she discovered a love for film and television– and more specifically for working with actors. She has been a Dance Coach to such stars as Kevin Spacey, Kate Bosworth, and Mathew Morrison and Choreographer to Patricia Heaton, Cloris Leachman and Jason Lee to name a few.

Her most recent work can be seen on Showtime’s “House of Lies” and “Californication”, as well as the prime time sitcoms “The Guest Book”, “The Miller’s”, “Raising Hope” and “The Middle”. Having had an extensive performance career, Melanie can be seen in such films as “Chicago”, “Beyond the Sea”, “Gangster Squad”, “Boogie Nights” and many more. Whether it’s meeting with a producer, collaborating with a director or working with an actor or dancer, Melanie’s reputation as a professional proceeds her and her body of work stands proudly on its own
