Michele Lynch

Michele Lynch is an award-winning choreographer, teacher, and performer.  She got her start as a performer dancing in Los Angeles on many TV specials, movies, and industrials.  A highlight was dancing on the Academy Awards – choreographed by Paula Abdul.  She made her way to New York City where some of her performance credits included dancing on Broadway in VICTOR/VICTORIA and at Radio City as a world-famous Rockette.

Michele has choreographed for film and stage and her passion is developing and choreographing new musicals.  On Broadway she choreographed the new show EVERYDAY RAPTURE to rave reviews.  She was the Associate Choreographer for HAIRSPRAY on Broadway as well as the THE FULL MONTY and URINETOWN.  She recently choreographed the National Tour of DIRTY DANCING and the movie THE LAST FIVE YEARS, starring Anna Kendrick.

As a teacher, Michele inspires students through her gift of story telling and imagination along side her show stopping choreography. Her passion for dance and expression is apparent in every class she teaches and every student she motivates.  She also brings her vast experience of working on Broadway, film, and TV – as well as with many stars of the screen and stage –  to every class she teaches.

In NYC, she taught jazz/musical theatre dance at Broadway Dance Center and jazz dance at American Ballet Theatre’s summer session.  At NYU Tisch School of the Arts she taught master classes in jazz and musical theatre.  Michele has also taught master dance classes to students at Studio School in Los Angeles as well as all over the world.
